Settler’s Cider
In 1847 James Fulkerson traveled West on the Oregon Trail to cultivate a rich and unknown landscape. By 1852 he established his family farm on what we know today as Left Coast Estate. He maintained a small orchard and the descendants of his apple trees still populate the grounds today. Each fall we harvest fruit from these historic trees. We have adopted a winemaker's philosophy toward our cider and use the Méthode Champenoise to create a complex, rich, and ageable sparkling cider.
Hand riddled and disgorged, this refinded apple cider is first recognized by its super-fine bubbles and subtle apple aroma. Dry and crisp on the palate with a delicate finish of mineral and salted almond.
