Situated on the 45th parallel Left Coast Cellars consists of 356 acres, 130 of steep hills facing west, north and south, creating a natural amphitheater surrounding a large meadow and spring fed lake, central to the gravity-fed irrigation of our vines.

Supple and open in texture, this wine offers a mouthful of ripe plum and cherry flavors that mingle with floral and spicy notes. Named after the family’s left-handed daughter, Cali, this Cuvée (blend) is 100% Dijon, Pommard and Wädenswil clone Pinot Noir. Cali’s Pinot Noir is a versatile and food-friendly wine, pairing beautifully with anything from the grill. Delicious now, this wine would reward cellar time.

The bright blossoms of the roses planted at the end of every third row attest to the good health of our vines. Left Coast’s signature, single vineyard designate Latitude 45 Pinot Noir is managed to produce low yields and is known for its red fruit along with its spiciness, which is a function of the terroir; with the Chehulpum silt there is also a distinct “dusty” character.

2015 Right Bank.png

The Right Bank is a 12 acre vineyard located above Latitude 45. It consists of 11 acres planted to Pommard clone Pinot Noir, plus 1 acre of cool climate Noir clone Syrah. This southwest facing knoll, with its rocky, shallow soils possesses a uniquely warm micro-climate and extreme soil conditions. These special characteristics promote the intensity of the resulting wines. This Pinot Noir is bottled as the Right Bank single vineyard selection and is also used to craft our popular Cali’s Cuvee Pinot Noir along with other Reserve blends.

“Herbal, woody, minty aromas; forward flavors of cherry and berry with mint tea and earthy notes; good structure and balance; long finish. Herbal style of Pinot with good complexity.“ - Pinot Report (Smart Buy!)

Truffle Hill is one of the most unique places on the Left Coast Cellars estate. Home to 4 acres of European Black Truffle-inoculated hazelnut trees, shrub roses and holly oaks this dual varietal vineyard is planted with 5 acres of the Swiss clone Wädenswil Pinot Noir. These grapes contribute lively fruit and subtle earthy characteristics to our single vineyard Truffle Hill Pinot Noir and our blends.
